Service Description
A convenient family haircut appointment at home, perfect for busy households who want multiple haircuts completed in the same visit. This service is ideal for families who want to save time, avoid travelling to a salon and keep the whole experience calm, relaxed and child-friendly. Roxanne can provide children’s haircuts, mum cuts, dad cuts and family haircut sessions in the comfort of your own home. Family appointments are especially helpful for children who feel more comfortable at home, and for parents who want everyone sorted at once without the stress of waiting rooms, parking or multiple appointments. Pricing Prices shown are “from” prices and are based on children aged under 6. Children aged 6–10 are charged an additional £2 per child. Children aged 10+ are charged an additional £5 per child. Once your booking request is received, we’ll confirm the final price before accepting, based on who is having a haircut and the children’s ages. For example, if you choose “Mum & 2 Children” from £51 and one child is aged 6–10, the final price would be £53. If one child is aged 10+, the final price would be £56. Appointment length The booking system shows a standard appointment time, but this may be adjusted when we confirm your request to make sure enough time is allowed for the number of haircuts required. Example family appointments may include: Mum & 1 child Mum & 2 children Mum & 3 children Mum & 4 children Mum, Dad & 1 child Mum, Dad & 2 children Mum, Dad & 3 children Mum, Dad & 4 children Roxanne has over 20 years’ professional hairdressing experience and is a State Registered Senior Hairdresser with The Hair Council (GB), fully insured and DBS checked. Cancellation Policy
BOOKING & CANCELLATION POLICY BOOKINGS Appointments are subject to availability and may occasionally need to be amended to accommodate travel routes, diary availability or operational requirements. If this is necessary, we'll contact you as soon as possible. PAYMENT A deposit or advance payment may be required to secure your appointment and will be deducted from your final balance. Full payment may be requested for selected appointments, including Saturdays, longer appointments or those outside our local travel area. TRAVEL Travel is included within Wakefield (up to 5 miles from our base). Appointments outside this area may be subject to a reasonable travel contribution, which will be confirmed before your appointment. If this is not accepted, we may cancel the booking and will refund any deposit paid. CHANGES & CANCELLATIONS Appointments may be changed or cancelled free of charge up to 48 hours before your appointment. Changes or cancellations within 48 hours may incur a charge of up to 50% of the appointment value. Within 24 hours, missed appointments, no-shows, incorrect addresses, failure to answer the door, or failure to provide sufficient directions or access information may be charged the full appointment value. DURING YOUR APPOINTMENT Please book the correct services and tell us in advance if extra time may be needed. While we will always work with your child to the best of our ability, parents or carers ultimately retain full responsibility for supervising and reasonably assisting their child where required. Our standard appointment times are generous in comparison to the wider market and we always endeavour to complete booked services in full; however additional time, services or appointments that unreasonably or significantly exceed the booked timeframe may result in an additional charge, the appointment being shortened, stopped or rearranged. We reserve the right to end an appointment at any time, for any reason and at our sole discretion. The cancellation policy may apply in these circumstances. SAFE WORKING Snips & Styles reserves the right to refuse, postpone or stop an appointment where the environment is unsafe or unsuitable, including aggressive behaviour, unsafe animals, smoking or vaping during the appointment, illegal activity, or any situation presenting a risk to health or safety. The cancellation policy may apply in these circumstances.
